Real estate transaction of the year: Gheorghe Iaciu and ARA Europe complete the sale of Expo Market Doraly

Gheorghe Iaciu and ARA Europe sold Expo Maket Doraly to WDP. Founded in 1993 by Gheorghe Iaciu, majority shareholder of IMPACT Developer & Contractor, Expo Market Doraly is the oldest and most successful wholesale, cash & carry and urban logistics park in Romania. This is the first major transaction of the year, of approximately 90 million euros.

Located in the north-east of Bucharest, Expo Market Doraly covers an area of ​​approximately 110,000 square meters and comprises a total of 37 pavilions, in which more than 400 traders operate, with a long history of continuous and sustainable growth. The location has direct access to Bucharest's existing and new ring road, making it ideal for the efficient supply of retailers in the Capital and the south-eastern region of Romania.

Together with WDP, who will perform the asset management, Mr. Iaciu and the current property management team will continue to manage the project.
